Do you want to work in a place where your contribution truly matters? Welcome to our HVB homes for children and youth, opened in the autumn of 2020, where we work with placements according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and LVU.

We are now looking for driven and independent treatment pedagogues who want to help develop our units – and above all, change the lives of young people.

Here you will have a significant role in an engaged team with treatment assistants, treatment pedagogues, coordinators, and unit managers. Together, we create a safe, structured, and meaningful existence for young people who need professional support and guidance.

🎯 Job Responsibilities

As a treatment pedagogue, you are a key person in each young person's development journey. Your mission includes, among other things:

• Being an educational and practical support in the daily lives of the youth.
• Working systematically with implementation plans and following up on individual goals.
• Being a contact person for schools, associations, social services, and guardians.
• Supporting treatment assistants and collaborating closely with social workers.
• Ensuring that documentation, routines, and structure are followed and developed.
• Contributing with initiatives and drive in everyday work to create a qualitative living environment.

You have an important responsibility to create stability, follow established routines, and act independently – while meeting each individual with warmth, empathy, and a professional approach.

🙋♀️ Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has post-secondary education in behavioral science or other relevant education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Has at least five years of experience working with children, youth, or young adults with neuropsychiatric disabilities or social challenges.
• Has experience working with individuals with autism and challenging behaviors.
• Has knowledge of motivational interviewing, low-arousal responses, and environmental therapeutic approaches – preferably also family treatment.
• Holds a B driver's license for manual transmission.

You are secure in your professional role, have good self-awareness, and a clear value base. You work systematically, follow routines, and are accustomed to documenting carefully. You are driven, take your own initiatives, and can work independently in a dynamic context where engagement makes a difference.

We place great importance on personal suitability, such as good collaboration skills, flexibility, and a professional demeanor.
